Activating a carbon-saving mindset in your people
Buckinghamshire Community Energy is your local, independent, not-for-profit society providing impartial, expert guidance to local people on reducing energy use.
And we’re proud to announce we’ve received funding from UK Power Networks, the organisation operating the National Grid in our region, to provide in-depth advice and events across the county.
As part of this initiative, we are now inviting large, local employers to join us in encouraging staff to benefit from personalised energy-saving advice and guidance on grant-funded schemes so they can stay warm, save money and cut their carbon footprints.
How it works
We are partnering with local businesses to help you align your own sustainability policies and plans with a valuable local service that can help staff save money and reduce their carbon footprints.
By focusing on how employees can take action at home, you’ll also be creating a deeper sense of engagement when they are at work.
We hope this will be an invaluable service for your organisation – and rest assured we are not selling anything other than community engagement.
What we can offer
We’ll work with you to create tailor-made internal activities and events, such as:
- Money-saving one-to-one expert advice for members of your staff
- Lunchtime talks on your premises from local expert
- Competitions and internal communication campaigns to raise awareness
- …and much more.
What does it cost?
As mentioned, our costs are already covered by UK Power Networks, so this is an entirely free service for your business and your employees.
What’s in it for your organisation?
Create a win-win-win for your organisation, your staff and our local community.
- Free and impartial benefit for staff
- Out-of-the-box staff advice solutions, fine-tuned for your business
- Staff appreciating cost-saving advice they can use at home just as the cold weather begins
